With a wide angle lens (112 degrees), a digital zoom (x 4), dual stream recording (for optimum connections) and lens distortion technology (to correct any distortions from the wide angle lens), you have a fully functioning nanny cam at a very affordable price point.
What it doesn’t have for the price is a Pan & Tilt feature, but the wide angle lens gives you a big field of view of the room. You can also disable the audio recording on this nanny cam, which can be important for legal reasons.
2. Amcrest ProHD Nanny Cam
The Amcrest ProHD is an easy plug & play nanny cam for less than $100. It comes with an SD card slot for easy local storage, 1080p resolution and operates on mains power.
You also have 2-way communication, a 90 degree viewing angle, pan & tilt (360 degrees), digital zoom (x 4), night time vision (up to 32 feet) and motion detection. The audio recording can also be disabled in areas where audio recordings without permission are illegal.
The only feature the Amcrest ProHD doesn’t have is sound detection, but that isn’t essential for everyone (it does have motion detection and alerts).

This is another robust nanny cam for less than $100 with 1280p resolution and operates on mains power. It does not have a zoom function, but with a 355 pan & a 270 degree tilt feature you won’t miss any of the action in the room.
