2-way communication

For most parents, one of the most important features in any nanny cam is being able to talk to their baby, toddlers, children, partner or babysitter, at the same time as they are watching them via the camera.

So with the iBaby M3S nanny cam, you have high quality audio and vision, making it easy to keep in touch or just make sure that your family is safe at home. This makes it perfect for keeping an eye on the baby sitter when they are left alone with your children, your pets or even an elderly relative who s alone during the day.

IR Night time vision

With the iBaby monitor M3S, you have 16 foot of good night time vision, so that you can check on your baby or children during the night quite easily, even when the lights are not on.

Pan & Tilt

This is another great feature, because being able to remotely control the camera and move the lens around the room, increases the amount of the room you can view, so nothing gets missed. This makes it easy to follow your toddler scampering around the room or just keep an eye on everything, making sure everyone is OK at home.

With the iBaby M3S nanny cam, you have a 360 degree pan and a 70 degree tilt, which you can operate remotely from your smartphone.

Sound and motion alerts

As soon as there is any motion or sound at home, you can be instantly notified, so you can keep on top of everything at home. You can set the sensitivity levels for both the sound and motion, so that you are not constantly alerted for every little sound or movement at home.

Integrated social media posting

You can snap and share photo memories of your baby and share them with friends and family via the integrated Facebook and Twitter facility.  If you love using your social networks and hop on and off your social media accounts all day long, then this is a great feature to have, letting you easily share your happy snaps with your friends and family.

Multiple users

You can also invite 4 friends to join you live and watch your baby’s first few steps or just to see how cute they are!

You can actually have an unlimited number of people invited to use the app and observe your baby, but only 4 can do so in real time together at once.

A trick with inviting friends to use the app is to ask your friends or relatives to sign up for the app first and then invite them to view your live footage, as once you have used an email in an invitation it cannot be used twice (so if they are not already registered on the app then they have to use another email address once you have sent them an invitation).

Customers like the clarity of the images, the fact that adding extra cameras is a simple process and also the ability to share snaps on social media, as well as the ease of set up.

A fair number of complaints are concerned with poor connectivity and that the iBaby M3S doesn’t work well with Android devices. There are plenty of newer models available now with more updated firmware, so it might be best to compare this nanny cam with other options, before making your final decision.

Conclusion

The iBaby M3S baby monitor is a great little nanny cam with 2-way communication, pan and tilt, infra-red night vision and free access to the cloud.

You can also share snaps with friends and relatives via social media and give friends access to the app so you can share precious moments together.

The main problem is that the iBaby M3S and the iBaby M2 were designed for Apple mobile devices and the Android app is not very reliable at present. So if you have a new model iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, then these are a good choice, otherwise it might be better to read one of my other nanny cam reviews for a more appropriate baby cam for your Android mobile device.

Most customers really love this nanny cam, but some have had problems with the setup and ongoing connectivity, however these customers are in the minority – most people have no problems.
